 The 155 Stagecoach pilots and crew-chiefs in Ban Me Thout took rides on the ropes for experience in preparation for pulling B-50 troops out of Cambodia, 1970.

Notre pilote est équipé de la combinaison K2-B sur laquelle est visible l'insigne de la 1st Cavalry U.S, par dessus laquelle il a revêtu un gilet pare-éclats, body-armor M-52.

Son casque est un  APH-5 1er type, de couleur blanche à l'origine repeint pour le Vietnam en vert. Il est doté d'un microphone.

THE GREEN BERETS

The Green Berets is the 1968 John Wayne war film that was one of the few movies made about the Vietnam War while the US was still involved in fighting it. Holding a somewhat dubious honor of being the only (somewhat) pro-Vietnam War movie of the era, Wayne's film received substantial support from the Department of Defense, who lent accurate equipment and weaponry for the production.

La jungle boots cuir et nylon a été développée pendant la guerre du Vietnam par l'US ARMY.
Trouver une chaussure de combat spécialement conçue pour la jungle et les zones humides.

Voici la première version toile et cuir des jungle boots vers 1950, qui ne sont qu'un dérivé des buckle boots M43.

Le premier modèle de jungle boots est sortie dès 1964 remplaçant progressivement les buckle de jungle que les advisors utilisaient au Vietnam.
